Curtis D Galloway
Founder & President
Palm Springs, CA
Curtis grew up in a small town in Southern Illinois. When he was 16 years old he was subjected to conversion therapy; an experience he was later able to use to ban conversion therapy in his home State. Curtis went on to be a leading figure in many LGBTQ+ organizations in the Midwest. Now living in California, Curtis has taken his activism to the next level and founded the Conversion Therapy Survivor Network to bring survivors of conversion therapy together in community and solidarity. In his free time, Curtis likes to try new food, hike nature trails, explore new places, and enjoy nights in on the couch.

Katie Jenifer is a licensed attorney from North Carolina and the proud mom of two queer kids. Now, she is a resource for other parents of queer kids; spearheading a name and gender marker change clinic at her law school, launching a PFLAG chapter in her local community, and serving on the Board of Genderbands. In her spare time, Kaite enjoys spending time with her family and reading.

Hailing from a Mexican American background and raised in Provo, Utah, Samuel pursued a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, which he successfully obtained in 2019. Subsequently, he embarked on a journey in marriage and family therapy. While he ultimately left the therapy field, Samuel continues to play a pivotal role by facilitating weekly community meetings and providing much-needed support.
Al Lindskoog
Community Engagement Committee
For the majority of his life, Al grappled with the relentless pursuit of conforming to societal norms. The pressure to change his sexual orientation wasn't confined to a singular program but emanated from his family, the church, and the broader societal context.
However, at the age of around 60, Al had an epiphany that being gay was not something to be changed, but rather a profound and invaluable aspect of his identity. Today, he is on a journey of self-discovery, learning to embrace his true self, and dedicated to inspiring others to do the same, helping them discover their own unique brilliance.
